Peak District National Park Authority are seeking new Welcome Volunteers

The Peak District Millstone

The Peak District National Park welcomes over 13 million visitors each year. To help these visitors to engage with the Peak District, Welcome Volunteers are currently being recruited by the Authority to greet members of the public when they arrive at visitor hubs and busier sites around the park. This role will involve answering questions, stressing the importance of conservation and management of the Peak District National Park, pointing out activities and walks and giving a little friendly advice.

No previous knowledge or experience is needed and an induction and light training is provided.
