The Bradfield Circuit – Saturday, 27th April 2024

Starting from the car park near the bus stop, and returning via Agden Reservoir, the walk in Low Bradfield is surrounded by the natural beauty of the Peak District National Park’s outskirts, with its rolling hills, offering stunning landscapes, wildlife spotting opportunities, and breathtaking views.

Details:

Start time of walk: 10:00am

Distance: Approximately 7.6 miles

Please ensure you dress appropriately/take the necessary resources with you for the group walk: 

  • wear comfortable walking shoes/boots
  • cool/warm clothing depending on the weather 
  • waterproof coat/jacket
  • bring sun cream if necessary
  • bring a packed lunch/snacks and water

At the Car Park (signposted and a few minutes walk from the bus stop)

Option 1: By Bus

Bus No 57:

  • Depart 8.50am from Angel Street
  • Arrive 09:01am  Langsett Road/ Hatton Road
  • 2-minute walk to Hillsborough Exchange

Hillsborough Exchange:

  • Stand H6: Bus No 62 Departs 9.10am
  • Arrive 09:38am Low Bradfield (Fairhouse Lane/Annet Lane)

Option 2: By Tram

Tram from Sheffield City Centre:

  • Get off at Hillsborough Interchange
  • 3-minute walk to Hillsborough Exchange

Hillsborough Exchange:

  • Stand H6: Bus No 62 Departs 9.10am
  • Arrive 09:38am Low Bradfield (Fairhouse Lane/Annet Lane)

 

Car Parking: round the corner from the bus stop (The Sands, Low Bradfield, Sheffield, S6 6LA)

Return:

Bus 62 from Low Bradfield

Fairhouse Lane/Smithy Bridge Road 14:42pm / 15:42pm

Arrive Middlewood Road/Dykes Hall Road at 15:04

Bus 57a to Angel Street, Sheffield City Centre leaves from this same stop at 15:18pm
