Set off on a relaxing circular walk that begins and ends at Bakewell Information Centre.

Bakewell is a popular market town, renowned for its picturesque scenery, rich history, and the famous Bakewell Pudding. You will have a varied walking experience as this route offers a mixture of terrain and features including road, river, woodland and open golf course.

Access Information:

You can get No 218 from Sheffield Interchange to Bakewell Rutland Square.

Bus: 218    Stand: D3

 Departure time from Sheffield Interchange: 09.40am

 Arrival time at Bakewell Rutland Square: 10:32am

(A 2-minute walk to the Information Centre – see map below)

 Return bus to Sheffield: 14:40pm

 Parking:  Pay & Display car park adjacent to the centre (The Market Place)

∙ Start time of walk: 11:00am

 Distance: Approximately 3 miles

Please ensure you dress appropriately/take the necessary resources with you for the group walk: 

 wear comfortable walking shoes/boots

 cool/warm clothing depending on the weather 

 waterproof coat/jacket

 bring sun cream if necessary

 bring a packed lunch/snacks and water
