Peak District Mosaic (PDM) is working in partnership with the National Trust and other groups, on a new project entitled Walk Together Pathway.
The Walk Together Pathway led by the National Trust, aims to widen participation in outdoor activities by supporting people from global majority ethnic communities to become qualified walk leaders.
This project addresses underrepresentation in the outdoors by training 100 new walk leaders. These walk leaders will help more people enjoy nature’s benefits, breaking down barriers related to cost, access, and representation.
PDM welcomes this initiative as a significant step toward creating more inclusive and accessible outdoor spaces for everyone.
