The #WeTwo Foundation is seeking nominations for a transformative expedition to the Galapagos Islands in October 2024. This initiative aims to provide deserving young people with a unique adventure while promoting environmental stewardship.
Following the successful City to Sea expedition to Antarctica in 2022, #WeTwo is now looking for the next group of participants from across the UK. Dwayne Fields and Phoebe Smith, founders of Team #WeTwo, are dedicated to breaking barriers to outdoor adventures and fostering environmental responsibility.
The Galapagos trip, organised with support from Intrepid Travel and Craghoppers, emphasises sustainability by offsetting carbon emissions and using responsibly sourced gear. Nominated participants will engage in environmental projects, learn about conservation efforts, and explore unique ecosystems.
Nominations are open to young individuals from disadvantaged backgrounds, and anyone can nominate a candidate through the #WeTwo website until May 3, 2024. The foundation encourages potential sponsors to explore partnership opportunities to support more than 10 participants.
