Participant Expected Fitness Level: Capable of walking for 6 miles with some gradients.

Full Description: A circular route starting at the Formal Garden in High Hazels park, Darnall. Continuing up the path to the High Hazels House, located in the park, which was built in 1850 by William Jeffcock (the first Mayor of Sheffield). The route continues on to the Trans Pennine Trail, and up to 70 Acres Hill before arriving in Catcliffe via the path in the woods. The path then leads to Handsworth Road and the route continues past Asda store and entering Bowden Woods before returning to High Hazels park.

Meet at 10:00 am High Hazels Park, Darnall, Senior Road entrance
Access Information:
Buses 52A and 52 from:
Sheffield City Centre going to Woodhouse: stops on West Street, Arundel Gate, Waingate and Wicker
OR
Woodhouse going to City Centre and Crookes
Get off at The Darnall Primary Care Centre, 290 Main Road, S9 4QH
Other information:
- Accessible using pushchairs/prams
- Children Welcome – must be accompanied by an adult over 18
- NO Dogs allowed
- Packed Lunch required
- Toilets Available at beginning or en route
- Talking Walk (Leader will provide Information during the walk)

Equipment:
Please ensure you dress appropriately/take the necessary equipment with you for the group walk:
- wear comfortable walking shoes/boots (do not wear trainers)
- cool/warm clothing depending on the weather
- waterproof coat/jacket
- bring sun cream if necessary
- bring a packed lunch/snacks and water
- Your ICE card
NOTE: You can download and fill in an ICE card if you do not already have one. It is important to bring it with you.
