Around the Booths in Edale – Saturday, 25th May 2024

Come and join us on a scenic walk “Around the Booths” in Edale and take in the beauty of the Hope Valley. You will walk along the Pennine Way, a very famous route that starts in the Peak District National Park and leads all the way to Scotland.

 This is an exclusive walk for our emailed participants on the mailing list.

  • Distance: 7 miles

 

Please ensure you dress appropriately/take the necessary equipment with you for the group walk: 

  • wear comfortable walking shoes/boots (Do not wear trainers )
  • cool/warm clothing depending on the weather 
  • waterproof coat/jacket
  • bring sun cream if necessary
  • bring a packed lunch/snacks and water
  • Your ICE card

Meeting Point:

The Edale car park and toilet across the road from the train station. 

Water Meadows, Hope Rd, Edale, Hope Valley S33 7ZQ

Access Information:

Travel from Sheffield to Edale by Train

08.45am – Meet at Sheffield train station

09.14am – Train departs Sheffield train station. Arrive at Edale 09:46am

Please ensure you arrive at the train station no later than 8.45am, so that your tickets can be purchased before boarding the train.

Parking:

Parking is available at Edale car park in the village.  

Edale is a busy walking area and the car park gets full quite early.

There is an overflow car park nearby and is signposted – £5 for the day.

Return:

Return train to Sheffield: 14.33pm
