A circular route around the village of Castleton. An opportunity to learn about the village history and take in the magnificent landscape. Also, we will visit the local church which always welcomes visitors for a special treat during December.

Meeting/Starting point:
Castleton Bus Station
Walk Leaders will meet the group at the Bus Station.

Departure time: 9.45
Arrival in Castleton: 10.54
You can also board the bus outside H&M store at the top of the Moor.
Parking:
Pay and display car parks in Castleton, including Castleton Visitor Centre, Buxton Road.
Return:
Return bus to Sheffield: 2.35pm
Equipment:
Please ensure you dress appropriately/take the necessary equipment with you for the group walk:
- wear comfortable walking shoes/boots (do not wear trainers)
- cool/warm clothing depending on the weather
- waterproof coat/jacket
- bring sun cream if necessary
- bring a packed lunch/snacks and water
- Your ICE card
NOTE: You can download and fill in an ICE card if you do not already have one. It is important to bring it with you.
