A walk around the village and countryside of the historic village of Eyam (pronounced ‘eem’), in the Peak District National Park in Derbyshire. The village became famous after the Black Death of 1665 and 1666.

Little Ledge bus stop on the main road, Eyam.

Distance: Approximately 4 to 5 miles

Return bus from Little Ledge 14:01 pm

Parking:

There is a car park on Hawkhill Road, S32 5QP (opposite Eyam museum). There is some on road parking (please allow enough time for parking).

Equipment:

Please ensure you dress appropriately/take the necessary equipment with you for the group walk:

  • wear comfortable walking shoes/boots (do not wear trainers)
  • cool/warm clothing depending on the weather (inc gloves, scarf, hat)
  • waterproof coat/jacket
  • bring sun cream if necessary
  • bring a packed lunch/snacks and water
  • your In Case of Emergency (ICE) card
